Children’s Ministry

We offer ministry each Sunday morning for all children newborn up to 5th grade. Our children’s ministry is divided into four groups:

Babies (newborn to walkers):
**Babies are cared for in a safe and clean environment. A feeding/changing form is available for you to inform us of any special care instructions your child may have. Please be sure to have your child’s name written on their bottle, pacifier, diaper bag, and any other article bring dropped off.

Walkers (walking to preschool):
**Walkers are for children who can consistently walk on their own. Walkers will have a great time with toys, tree-nut free snacks (see snack list below), crafts, and loving attention.

Preschool (Preschool to Pre-K):
**Preschool children will have outdoor playtime, craft-time, tree-nut free snacks (see snack list below), sing-along time, an age appropriate lesson and lots of fun! Your child needs to be able to independently use the bathroom before being registered for this group.

Elementary (Kindergarten to 5th grade):
**Elementary aged children experience a mix of outdoor playtime, large group lesson, high-energy worship songs, and small group interaction.

All children are checked in using a secure check-in system. A security tag is issued to each child and a matching tag is given to the parent/guardian. This security tag is required to pick up your child. For your first visit please come a little early to allow extra time to register with our visitor check-in team. All volunteers and staff are subjected to a full background and reference check through Clear Investigative Advantage.

We will do our best to accommodate children with special care needs (food allergies, pick up instructions, etc.). A special care form is available to inform our team members of any special needs and instructions your child may have. In order to accommodate children with food allergies The Sound will provide all snacks and drinks for our preschool and elementary groups (please be sure to bring in food and drink/formula for your babies). We are excited to teach your child the foundational truths of the Bible in a memorable and exciting way. You can also review the at-home materials we will send home each week with your child.
